Culture, Community & Courage at the WEA

The WEA Learning Hub in St Pauls invites you to an open day celebrating the courage and resilience of their ESOL learners. Representing over 40 nationalities of refugees and asylum seekers, the WEA learners are coming together to showcase their diverse journeys of arriving in the UK, settling into new neighbourhoods and learning a new language.
Each classroom will be curated by a group of learners who will be there on the day to share what they have chosen to present and explain what it means to them.
There will be food, music, videos, art and storytelling. Free activities include henna, dance, crafts and more.
