Island of Strangers – Film Screening

Bristol Central Library presents four captivating 15‑minute films, created by The Daily Mirror in 2024 – 2025, celebrating the remarkable strength, warmth and resilience found in communities across the UK.

Together, the films invite us to reflect on the powerful question: are we an island of strangers — or a nation of neighbours?

The library will be open. Arrive at the First Floor Meeting Room (just off the PC area) from 17:15 for a 17:30 start. There will be a short time for discussion about the topics before the event finishes at 18:45. The library then closes at 19:00.

Free entry but please book to help the library have a sense of numbers.
