Head of programme and operations
Hello everyone,
I’m Camilla, and I’ve recently joined Bristol Refugee Festival as the new Head of Programmes and Operations. I’m thrilled to be part of this inspiring organisation and to contribute to the incredible work BRF and our partners do across Bristol and beyond.
My background is in youth and community work, as well as operational leadership within humanitarian organisations supporting refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK and Europe. I’m deeply passionate about inclusion and the celebration of refugee communities, and I’m excited to support the continued development of BRF’s community cohesion work.
I also believe strongly in the healing power of the arts. I’m honoured to join an organisation that brings people together and celebrates our shared humanity through creativity, culture, and connection. Now more than ever, it’s vital that we find joy in our differences and strength in our commonalities.
As I settle into this role, I’m hopeful that by celebrating diversity in joyful, creative, and meaningful ways, we can continue to spread the message that love and hope will always prevail.
