Bristol Refugee Festival returned 6 – 21 June this summer to celebrate the resilience, creativity and contributions of refugees and people seeking sanctuary across Bristol.
The festival concluded with its free, family-friendly celebration Celebrating Sanctuary in College Green on Sunday 21 June. It was a fantastic day featuring live music and dance from around the world, with performances from The Bristol Griot, Servo Mputu and friends, Tamboré Colombian Folklore Dancing Group, Özcan Ateş and band, DJ Steph and Zimbabwean mbira group Bulawayo Band.
